Can You Believe Your Eyes!!!
So you know when we teased you with my $2.00 thrift store purse.........
Before
After....
Before
I spray painted the purse with my favorite paint, Rustoleum 2X coverage! I cut strips of material. Sewed a running stitch down one side so it would gather. Then I glued them on a piece of felt in a circle trimmed the felt and hot glued the flower on the purse. My only suggestion is don't buy a vinyl material purse. The paint has a hard time curring
I think I'am going to use it for my new church bag!!
What do ya think?

"BIG" eggs/baskets just in time for Easter!
I have a friend on Facebook who had made cute Easter baskets. When I saw them I thought they would be cute as decorations. You start with a balloon, whatever size you would like your egg
I rolled the balloon in the liquid starch first and then started wrapping it with the string. There is really is no right or wrong way to the wrapping the balloon. Depending on how you want your egg to look is how much string you use. I used one roll per egg.
After wrapping the whole balloon roll it around in the liquid starch. After you have soaked the balloon put the balloon on a cup and let it dry overnight. This project is a little messy .....so beware. After the the string is fully dry pop the balloon and you have your egg!!
As you can tell they are pretty big!!
Super cute baskets our friends made......just cut out the middle add some lace....so cute:)
Enjoy !!!

Got Spray Paint???
I ventured around blog-land the other day and stumbled across this AWESOME idea on how to make over your shoes. So I thought I would give it a shot. So I grabbed some shoes that I liked but was not to fond of the color and gave it a new paint job with Rustoleum 2X coverage( the best paint ever, once you used Rustoleum 2X you'll never go back!) And here is the what happened... LOVE IT!
Yep we even tried a purse (from a thrift store $2 make ya holla), stay tuned for AWESOME/SUPRISING result.
